Due to the large number of Christian artists and Christian public figures who go to nightclubs, this makes many ordinary Christians think that it is okay for Christians to go to nightclubs because many Christian artists and public figures do it, so let’s let’s look at and review this based on the perspective of God’s word.
John 3:19 (IMB) And this is the punishment, that light has come into the world, but people loved darkness more than light, because their deeds were evil.
Romans 13:12-13 (IMB) The night has drawn on and the day has come, therefore let us put off the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Let us live as we should in the daytime, not in debauchery and drunkenness, not in immoral acts and lewd deeds, not in fighting and envy.
Ephesians 5:11 (IMB) Do not take part in fruitless works of darkness, but instead declare that they are wrong. Because the things they do in secret are something embarrassing, let alone talk about.
Ephesians 5:11-12 (ESV) Do not take part in the fruitless deeds of darkness, but instead be naked in those deeds. Because even mentioning what they do in hidden places is embarrassing.
What do people do in nightclubs? They get drunk, come into contact with the opposite sex, drink alcohol, some even consume illegal drugs, so what’s the benefit of all that? There isn’t any! All of these are deeds of darkness that are wrong according to God’s word and even shameful.
There is no benefit to going to a nightclub other than you will do bad things that are contrary to God’s word. For example, if you find a priest at a nightclub, what will come to your mind about him other than negative things? If you call yourself a child of God but go to nightclubs, how will outsiders respond to you and your faith in Christ? Aren’t you just going to embarrass God and make God’s Name blasphemed because of your behavior? Don’t be a stumbling block for others. Do not participate in the deeds of darkness, we are children of light and not children of darkness. Act and behave like children of light, so that God’s name will be glorified through our lives.
Romans 2:24 (IMB) For as it is written : The name of God has been blasphemed among the nations because of you.
Galatians 5:19-21 (IMB) The deeds of the flesh have become manifest, namely: adultery, whoredom, uncleanness, wild lust, idolatry, magic, enmity, arguments, envy, anger, rivalry, strife, false teaching, malice , murder , drunkenness, debauchery, and so on. Of these things, I say to you, as I have said before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Ephesians 5:8 (IMB) For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; live as children of light,
1 Thessalonians 5:5-8 (IMB) You are all children of light and children of the day, we are not people who live in darkness or children of the night. Therefore, let us be alert and remain conscious, and do not fall asleep like other people. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who are drunk, get drunk at night. But as people of the day, let us remain sober, while wearing the armor of faith and love, and wearing the helmet of hope for salvation.
God’s children do not participate in the deeds of darkness, God’s children are not in nightclubs but in the church, God’s children do not get drunk and drink alcohol in night clubs but they make prayer altars at home and build healthy relationships. intimate with God, God’s children like to praise and worship God, not dancing in nightclubs with Satan’s children, God’s children hang out with people who fear God and their lives are a blessing, not hang out with children. the child of Satan and becomes a stumbling block for others.
Matthew 7:16-21 (IMB) By their fruits you will know them. Have people ever plucked grapes from a thornbush, or figs from a thorn tree? So, every good tree produces good fruit, but a bad tree produces bad fruit. A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. Every tree that did not bear good fruit was cut down and thrown into the fire. So, by their fruits you will know them. Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
