JESUS CAME FROM HEAVEN NOT FROM THE WORLD

Can you prove that JESUS Christ came from heaven and not from earth? This question often arises and is asked by many Christians in general, including me. Now let’s see what God’s Word says.

John 8:23-24 (IMB) He said, “You are from below, I am from above. You are from this world, I am not from this world. Therefore I say to you that you will die in your sins. For if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.”

JESUS did not come from this world but from heaven. Then another question arose for me, if JESUS came from heaven, why was He born of a woman? That means JESUS’ words are completely untrue. The answer is that you need to know that JESUS did not have a biological father, Joseph, Mary’s husband, was only JESUS’ legal father (because Joseph was Mary’s husband, and not her biological father). Mary became pregnant after the Holy Spirit descended on her and there was no sexual intercourse between Mary and Joseph before Mary became pregnant with JESUS.

Luke 1:34-35 (IMB) Mary said to the angel, “How will this happen, since I am not yet married?” The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore, the Child you will give birth to is holy, and He will be called the Son of God.

Other evidence that JESUS came from heaven and not from this world is :

Matthew 1:18 (IMB) The birth of JESUS Christ was as follows: When Mary, His mother, was still betrothed to Joseph and had not yet had sexual intercourse, she was found pregnant by the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 1:20 (IMB) But while he was considering this, an angel of the LORD appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to accept Mary as your wife, for what is conceived in her comes from the Holy Spirit.

John 1:14 (IMB) The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. We have seen His glory, namely glory as the Only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Philippians 2:6-7 (IMB) He who exists in the form of God, does not consider equality with God something to be maintained. Instead, He emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant in order to become like humans.
