The History of Susana is one of the many apocryphal books that were not included in the Bible. The Book of History of Susana is only accepted by the Eastern Orthodox Church and the Roman Catholic Church, and is included in the Deuterocanonical of these two churches, even the Ethiopian Orthodox Church included it in the book of Daniel and became Daniel chapter 13.
The reason why the book History of Susana was not included in the Old Testament is because this book is an Apocryphal book, the Jews themselves do not recognize the book History of Susana as part of the Old Testament (Jewish Tanakh), nor part of the book of Daniel. The History of Susana only appeared around 100 BC, but it does not have Hebrew and Aramaic texts, only Greek texts, and the Jews never mentioned this book at all, which is why this book is considered Apocryphal, even early Jewish literature never mentioned it this book and its story.
The book of History of Susana itself tells the story of Susana, the wife of a Jew named Jehoiakim who was abused by two Jewish elders in the Kingdom of Babylon. Susana complained about the harassment action against her but instead she was complained back by the two elders and she was almost sentenced to death on charges of spreading slander. Susana prayed to God for help and Daniel was sent by God to help Susana and in court, Daniel managed to prove that Susana was innocent, and that she was indeed a victim of abuse. Two elders who abused Susana were sentenced to death because they were proven guilty and lied.
Apart from the fact that this book does not have texts in Hebrew and Aramaic, the book History of Susana also did not pass canonization, this book was also not written at the same time as the book of Daniel. And there is no historical evidence regarding the truth of Susana’s story, making the book History of Susana one of the Apocryphal books which are not part of God’s word.
