Let’s go straight to the answer to this question. Abraham had three wives, namely Sarah, Hagar and Keturah. Sarah gave birth to Isaac, Sarah’s servant Hagar gave birth to Ishmael while Keturah gave birth to Zimran, Joksan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shua.
Genesis 21:3 (IMB) And Abraham named the child Isaac, whom Sarah had just born.
Genesis 16:15 (IMB) Hagar gave birth to a son to Abram and Abram named him Ishmael.
Genesis 25:1-2 (IMB) Abraham also took a wife, named Keturah. And she bore him Zimran, and Yoksan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shua.
Isaac was the ancestor of the Israelites, Ishmael was the ancestor of the Arabs, while the sons of Keturah were the ancestors of the Assyrians, Persians, Mesopotamia and India.
Many people say that Abraham only had two children, namely Isaac and Ishmael, but the Bible records that Abraham also had other children, namely Zimran, Yoksan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shua from a wife named Keturah.
