Have you ever thought about why humans need God’s grace?
The answer is very simple, because humans cannot do anything to reach heaven and eternity through their actions, or their possessions.
In fact, heaven cannot be bought with money, no matter how much money you have, even if you are the richest person on earth. The money you have has no power to buy heaven. Because heaven can only be obtained through faith in JESUS.
Even your actions. No matter how godly you are, if you don’t have JESUS and don’t believe in JESUS, it will only be in vain because it won’t be able to take you to heaven. That is why humans need God’s grace!!!
Ephesians 2:8-9 (IMB) By grace you have been saved through faith, not by yourselves, but by the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast.
If you feel that you do not need grace and feel that you can reach heaven through your own actions and your own strength. So you don’t need JESUS at all, because JESUS came to give you free grace and salvation.
But in reality, all humans need this gift without exception. Only arrogant people think they don’t need it. No human being is perfect in all his actions, even the Holy Bible itself records that all humans have fallen into sin and no one is righteous (Romans 3:9-20).
So how can humans be justified?
Romans 3:23-24 (IMB) For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, but by His grace they are justified freely through the redemption that is in Christ JESUS.
Man can only be justified through redemption in Christ JESUS. Without Christ JESUS, humans are nothing. So it is an extremely strange thing if there are people who feel they are capable and can do without JESUS so they reject the gift He offered for free.
Romans 3:25-27 (IMB) Christ JESUS was appointed by God as a propitiation through faith in His blood. He did this to reveal His righteousness because He had allowed the sins that occurred in the past during the time of His patience, to prove the truth of God in the present, so that it would be clear that He is righteous and justifies those who believe in JESUS. So, is there any reason to boast? There isn’t any! Through what? Through actions? No, but through faith!
Do you believe in JESUS? And will you accept His gift which He freely gives?
